Harley-Davidson has never let their fans down, and this year is no exception; on the contrary, it promises to be a very special year, because the reputed motorcycle manufacturer is celebrating 110 years of brilliant activity, and it is doing so by launching a limited edition of motorcycles inspired from the original models and fitted with details and accessories which make each of them a unique piece of art. But the fun doesn’t stop here, because the talented engineers and designers at Harley-Davidson have come up with other new motorcycle series as well, bringing innovations to models like the Ultra Classic Electra Glide, the Road Glide or the Road King.

The teams at CVO break boundaries once more, with their fully improved and revised 2013 Harley-Davidson CVO Breakout, which promises to be one of this year’s sweethearts. The Custom Vehicle Operations department has been surprising fans year after year with their limited-production highway tamers, and this year they chose to impress with the CVO Breakout Softail.

The 2013 Harley-Davidson CVO Breakout follows the Softail tradition of bikes with lean and simple lines and powerful-looking design which invites riders to push that pedal harder. This year’s CVO Breakout is inspired from the features of vintage hard-tails and is fitted with numerous accessories which give it a glam appearance. The 2013 Harley-Davidson CVO Breakout comes in two variants, the Molten Silver and the Liquid Sun. As their names indicate, the first has silver and black accents, whereas the Liquid Sun features Hard Candy Gold Dust paint accents. Wait, there’s more: confident and rebellious riders can also opt for a third variant of the CVO Breakout, the Crimson Red Sunglo and Scarlet Lace with Hammered Sterling.

These name descriptions are a bit flamboyant, but everything make sense when one sees the wonderful paint job the CVO team managed to accomplish this year. As for specifications and performance, the 2013 Harley-Davidson CVO Breakout features wet multi-plate clutch, six-speed transmission, front and rear brakes and suspensions, and all sorts of technology updates like electronic cruise control, indoor/outdoor bike cover, ABS, Screamin’ Eagle Twin Cam engine which reduces weight compared to previous models and, last but not least, key-fob security. For some buyers another attraction may be the fact that this year’s CVO Breakout will only be released in some 1900 units, and at the price of only $26,499, which is the cheapest among all other CVO models.
